RIVERWORKS MUSIC PUBLISHING LLC Paul and Peter Scattaretico have devoted their entire lives to performing and promoting MUSIC. Their father Al Scatt started Stolen Moments Entertainment (an entertainment agency) over 50 years ago.
The formation of RIVERWORKS RECORDS is a natural extension of their full service music facility in Dobbs Ferry known as The MUZIC COMPLEX. The COMPLEX encompasses every stage of music development and performance from the purchase of an instrument, learning to play and perform, recording and now making new and exciting music available for music lovers worldwide.
BY MUSICIANS, FOR MUSICIANS A MUSIC CONSERVATORY, PAUL is the Director of the Music Conservatory. One-on-one or group instruction and mentoring is available by professionally trained and dedicated faculty. All teachers are Qualified and Experienced Professionals. Students are evaluated by our NYS Certified Music Director prior to their initial class to determine placement with the appropriate teacher and area of study. The dedicated faculty not only accommodates the goals of our students, but also provides a firm foundation in necessary theory and technique. There is an end-of year student recital in the complex’s Theatre which is often a student’s first opportunity to perform ever, needless to say in such a classic and timeless environment.
MUZIC STORE PETER manages The MUZIC STORE, an established retail operation that has been in business for over 23 years in the New York Metro Area. The MUZIC STORE is a One Stop Shop for all the musical needs of a musician, singer or songwriter. The store is respected for its excellent service as well as unbeatable prices. RECORDING STUDIO The MUZIC COMPLEX includes a state-of-the-art recording studio on premises which offers a variety of professional recording packages to meet your recording desires and needs. AN INTIMATE THEATRE The MUZIC COMPLEX features a 100-year-old landmark theatre with state-of-the-art acoustics and a real Broadway dance floor. Offering recitals and used by other not-for-profit organizations for full-scale performances. The theatre is a truly unique center for performing arts.
STOLEN MOMENTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY The MUZIC COMPLEX is the home of the famed Stolen Moments Entertainment company, providing the Tri-State area with the finest entertainment for over 50 years. Besides the famous Al Scatt’s Stolen Moments Orchestra, the company manages several bands and musicians which perform at all types of functions and events. The company has several Entertainment Consultants available 7 days a week to assist you with all your entertaining needs.
ARTIST MANAGEMENT CROSSBRIDGE ASSOCIATES, INC. is dedicated to the development and management of musicians, singers and songwriters.
PAUL SCATTARETICO PAUL is a producer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, keyboard player and music educator. PAUL has a Bachelors Degree in Music from Lehman College. PAUL has a Masters Degree in Music from the Aaron Copeland Conservatory of Music at Queens College. PAUL’s vast recording and performing credits include playing keyboards and composing/arranging with an original material theatrical rock group which featured among others Tico Torres, the longtime drummer for Bon Jovi.
PETER SCATTARETICO PETER has been playing drums professionally for 35 years, and has a long list of credentials in the jazz scene, performing with notable jazz artists such as, Warne Marsh, Eddie Gomez, Harvey Schwartz, Michael Moore, Red Mitchell, Sal Mosca, Connie Crothers, Gerri Mulligan, John Bunch, Peter Prisco, Earl Sauls, and Lennie Popkin. He has performed at well known venues including, but not limited to; Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Village Vanguard NYC, Fat Tuesdays NYC, Town Hall NYC, Lou Whites in Boston, The Ritz, etc. He has performed on records such as; Jazz Records' "Lenny Tristano Memorial Concert Live At Town Hall"; Lenny Popkin, "Falling Free"; and Peter Prisco's: "It's About Time". The Peter Prisco, Peter Scattaretico Quartet have recently released a new album entitled "Yesterday's Future". The music has been described as "Traditional Jazz delivered by veteran players, featuring electrifying guitar, keyboards, and drums."
